GRAND RAPIDS PUBLIC SCHOOLS CORDIALLY INVITES THE PUBLIC TO A VIRTUAL TOWN HALL CONCERNING THE DISTRICT’S 2020-21 PROPOSED BUDGET

Grand Rapids Public Schools cordially invites the public to attend a virtual town hall for the purpose of sharing information on the proposed 2020-21 school year budget. The town hall will be hosted by Dr. Ronald Gorman, Interim Superintendent of Schools. He and his team will provide an overview of the realities affecting the district due to per pupil funding cuts brought about by the effects of the Covid-19 statewide shutdown. The district is facing tough decisions and encourages the public to attend. Virtual attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments after the presentations.
