Harrison Park School is entering a float in the annual Pulaski Days Parade. The parade takes place October 6 at 11:00am. It will progress east down Michigan Street from College to Diamond.
This is the first time Harrison Park has entered a float into the parade. The staff decided to have a float to celebrate Harrison Park pride and offer an incentive for their annual Wildcat Walk fundraiser. The highest earning student in each grade will join about 30 staff members in the parade.
The float was designed and constructed by Ms. Karen Hoffman and Ms. Lynette Wolbert. Some classes have also done special lessons this week to learn about Pulaski days and Polish heritage.
